New Multilam Contact Band LA-CUD

Multi-Contact's lamella family received a new member - the LA-CUD. This new contact band features an asymmetrical geometry with a narrow louver width of only 9-11.5 mm to provide an optimum relationship between operating range and assembly width. The LA-CUD Multilam band is made of silver-plated contact louvers that are mounted onto a stainless steel carrier. Its narrow width permits compact connectors designs that absorb large angular misalignment and handle a wide range of radial tolerance. The contact band is ideal for applications such as low and high-voltage power distribution systems, static or dynamic connecting interfaces, connectors in air, vacuum, insulating oils and insulating gases such as SF6.
