Multi Contact has chosen the International Robots & Vision Show
in Rosemont, Chicago to showcase its new RobiFix® robotic plug connectors for the first time. These new plug
connectors provide a highly reliable and cost-effective means of integrating power supplies in robotic dress packs
and running them along robotic arms.
Utilising Multi-Contact's Multilam technology, high current contacts have a proven track record in this challenging area of application spanning more than 40 years. This latest innovation, which does not require any special assembly tools, means that their insertion into and removal from the connector housing couldn't be easier. The insulating material is resistant to spattering, sparking and welding vapors. The slim design of the RobiFix®, which is protected against polarity reversal, makes for quick, flexible and economic assembly.
